Our Story

Founded in 1985 by immigrants Marco and Elena Rossi, Aussie Fast Food began as a humble dream to share the authentic tastes of Australia with food lovers everywhere. After falling in love with traditional Australian cuisine during their travels across the continent, the couple decided to settle in Melbourne and open a small bakery specializing in meat pies and sausage rolls.

What started as a 12-square-meter shop on Collins Street has grown into a beloved institution that serves over 1,000 customers daily. Our commitment to using locally sourced ingredients and traditional preparation methods has earned us recognition from food critics and loyal customers who have been visiting us for generations.

Today, under the leadership of their son Antonio Rossi, we continue to honor our founders' vision while embracing innovation and sustainability. Every pie, every burger, and every fish & chips order carries with it the legacy of authentic Australian fast food culture that we've proudly maintained for nearly four decades.
